I stopped past the Pavilion this afternoon and got myself a KINECT from music (and 2 games) great sale for them! Only to get home, 10min ago after gridlock traffic, open the box and... no KINECT inside, just the power supply... Now I'm waiting for them too phone me back and explain!
 
LOL!!! The store manager has just phoned me back to ask for my address, as she will be driving through and bringing me another sealed box .

I realize that, and I was surprised when she said that she would drive through with a replacement unit. I will be writing an e-mail of thanks and praise to their head office and her.
 
please let us know how it turns out?? im curious about the kinetic.

bwaaaaaahahahaha I can just picture your face when you opened the box- whoever scaled it should have replaced it with one of those Chinese "game stations" that you can pick up for R100

I gave the guy a list of all that was included, and he made me an offer of R5500. I'm not complaining and he got a deal, the unit is not even 4mnths old and had only been used for a max of 12 hours (if that)

maybe she was aware of one missing from the box (either one of the staff stole it or they sold you the store demo one)thats why she was willing to drive to you?
if by a slim chance they let you keep the old ones power suply, justinmw on the forum might want it.

If he does can i get commision for the sale? :)

Will let you know... still waiting for them to get here! Getting tense! and a tad upset!
 
Just got a call, the store manager is on her way, after checking it seems like the box I was sold was the box for the store demo model :) Going to buy her a box of chocolates for her troubles and stop by on the way home from work tomorrow too drop off for her, as well as a letter to the area manager.

so i guess i was right, had to happen some time....
 
All done, received a full box, setup and played now out of breath! :) Going to by the store manager of Musica Pavilion a BIG box of chocolates tomorrow! What amazing service!
