The Audi Thread

R220k, 105000km, 2008 model, FSH, satnav, not sure what other optional extras were added and what was standard. Just had some belt replaced, next service on 125000km according to book and Audi stamp.

Had a chuckle when the owner told me it's OK to drive faster, he isn't worried about speeding tickets with the diplomatic plates :-)

Why so pricey? This is just a TT?

Seems around R50k overpriced.

^ hmm...I don't know if I agree with it being that pricey Mr PP. I've see the earlier (2006) Coupe for R180k-R190k...so this "08 Softtop with Sat Nav & whatever else is not too "overpriced" IMO. Maybe the dealer has a fair bit of swing in that price as well

The book is for the coupe. The roadster is valued at R235k, at least that is what Stannic said when I did the financing. Add R5k for satnav then it's about 10% below.

Will think about it he weekend and decide if I really want it or keep saving for something different.

Can you please check for me 2013 Audi A3 1.8 TFSI S-tronic Sportback?

I am looking to purchase the Audi A3 Sedan 1.4 TFSI. I plan to purchase a used vehicle.

Any knowledgeable forum members have any feedback on these cars? Any known issues, or things to look out for?

Secondly anybody have a car with this engine? What kind of range you getting from a full tank of petrol? or how many Litres per 100km's?

Thanks

So a while ago I mentioned that my Audi was getting carbon cleaned, along with lots of preventative maintenance.

Trying to squeeze in my last annual & 60,000km service on my A3 under Audi's 5 year motor plan.

I'm doing so little travel now I'm not sure I will even get to 59,000km before I have to take it in as time wise I must go by the end of October. If I can get to 59,000km then I suppose they will let me get the 60k service done at the same time. Not sure offhand if this is a biggie or not?

I'm definitely going to have to squeeze in some long distance trips if I want to get to 59k km...

Why not extend your motor plan with 2 years? To extend years is cheap compared to extend the kilo part...
