Cosmetically yes, there is a bash on the right hand side and is going to my insurance and is getting fixed next week, they were happy with this and said even if they collect the car from the panel beaters they can. Other than that the car is fine. They even drove it to make sure the gearbox was ok. Multitronic and all.
Low balling it is then. Well screw them.
Cosmetic stuff is cheap to fix and should be the least of one's concerns. How much is it costing to fix? Worth claiming from insurance?
You'll get R90 - R95k in a heartbeat on Gumtree.
Thanks dude..claim is for R25k, so worth claiming. Amazed it was even that much.
Going to get her fixed and see from there but R55k what a joke. I figured they made most of their money on selling new cars not trying to stiff the average Joe on his trade in.

The only downside is that it could take a while to sell. Also if buyers start asking about accident history. Though I take it it was minor. Can you post a pic?
But being under 100,000km, and a 2007 (important for those who've researched), puts you in a good spot. Best value cars IMO.

Warranty covers all mechanical components. Maintenance plan covers electrics + wear and tear items such as bulbs, wiper blades etc.

Been swamped with other stuff and only called them now. Should have done so last week, they say they will do the bumper to bumper check for free! I even explained the situation that the work would be for Audi to do under maintenance plan if anything found and he had no issue with that. I've got 7 days left on Audi freeway plan
In retrospect I should have done the bumper to bumper with them and Audi before end of freeway plan and then skipped the monthly Motorite maintenance plan.

Car is in at Audi today for the 80 point check (R2,100 price tag) due to time / freeway plan running out next week i had to give Wackers a skip. I hope they find something to make it worth the money spent :/Excellent marketing that, it'll ensure you go back to the out of plan.

That is exactly what you are paying for. It's just an inspection, they wont fix anything, If they find a fault and repairs are required, the bill will be on top of the R2100.
