And what tyres are those?

Pirelli P Zero Rosso, and now Goodyear
I've tried the el cheapos, had 2 different brands in 200km, has this strange vibration, then the tire place arranged Goodyear, happy so far!

I had Conti Sport Contact 5 on my other Audi, and that lasted 58k (was still 2mm left)

Is that even safe? I suppose so. I know rims allow going 10mm up or down in width (your 255 part of the measurement). I guess your speedo is a bit out.
Not really dangerous just 10mm higher profile but does not look good to me they look round and fat not a nice square fit.

Mag cleaner? Good job mate! I have some narley pieces of tar sitting inside the rim that's just there to annoy me. Tried getting off with the previous wash but they are bloody stubborn. Any hints?

You get tar remover at the spares shop, but I don't like it, it would even remove paint if you are not careful.

Petrol works for me removing the spots of tar, and then I give everything a good was with Splash car shampoo to add the layer of wax for protection.

You need something aggressive that will eat into the iron. ValetPro's Dragons Breath is said to be good (I use their Advanced Neutral snow foam).

Chat to them, maybe there's something better/cheaper.

I'm a little vague on Bluetooth protocol. Can the Audi Concert BT system handle 2 phones being connected to it simultaneously? If so, how does it handle an incoming call on phone #2 if phone #1 is already in use?

I don't think it can. It's one phone or the other as far as I recall.

So my 100k.km/5 year warranty on my A3 Sportback 1.4 Stronic 2011 is coming to end in less than 250km, - squeezing in the last service under the warranty next week. Just got quoted 39K to extend for a 20k.km/1 year....bit too rich for my liking...Any ball park figure what a service usually comes to ? Or should I just shut up and part with the 39k?

What's the mileage?

Normal service should be R1200 - R1800.

But at certain mileages you are looking at other things as well, but regardless should never been 39k in a year.

My car hasn't even cost near 39k in 5 years and 65 000km (95 000 - 160 000) and that's with cambelts and discs/pads all round. Jeez might as well add tyres too and still under 39k by a long shot. Oh and front suspension.

I am at 99 735 km...- just checked have some Motorite Warranty Cover that will kick in when the 100k.km mark is reached. The more I am looking at this 39k, the more it is screaming daylight robbery!
