That's a chart from probably 40 or 50yrs ago.check to go to a 10w30. Your book should show what can be used.
in your book should be a scale based on the temp of the area you live .
similar to this below , a 5w is to thin for SA conditions ( 5 is artic weather)

For modern engines you want the the thinnest cold rating oil so the oil reaches the heads and all over the engine asap after startup, if it wasn't so expensive 0W would be the best, it’s the warm rating that affects the actual operation of the engine. For higher mileage modern engines 0W40 would be the best but 5W40 is not far behind.
