+1 for Android Pro Widgets I bought it purely for the themes option

Esp for the transparent ones as seen below.

Also look at Beautiful Widgets Free if you get it from http://www.getjar.com/ under the Gold promotion.

Power Widget and Calculator Widget is also worth a look if you run custom ROMs.
