hi dudes!

Want to find out from anyone else who might be in a similar situation.
Looking to get a connection for an office. I need VoIP support and obviously browsing ability.
The plan is to have one connection method for general browsing, and another method for a VoIP system.
I need some advice in terms of what would work best
e.g.
General browsing -> use a wireless connection from a wireless access provider
VoIP system -> ADSL

What do you guys think would work best (and yet still be the most affordable)

Thanks!
ds:confused:

How many PCs?

I would not go wireless. If you can get adsl use that as it will work out the cheapest and it's more stable.

probably about 4-10 pc's
for general browsing i know adsl is fairly reliable.
However quite unsure about the reliability of wireless for VoIP...obviously no wireless provider will say that their service is not suited for VoIP. So what's everyone's experience on the ground?

Hi There,
I would start with ADSL. Is everyone going to connect VoIP for telephone communications? If yes then it may pay you to have an ISDN connection for the VoIP and ADSL for the rest.
I would get your VoIP provider involved in this discussion as that is the most critical aspect. You need to be able to talk to your clients more than having the employees surfing around

Regards

Tim

Thanks dudes!
100% on the point about the reliability: we're gonna go for ADSL for the VoIP and have a wireless backup. ISDN and the like are really expensive, but we'll see how reliability is and then make a decision should ADSL let us down.
