I'm trying to get my hands on seasons of the British TV Series called 'The Bill' - the longest running TV series in the UK, 26 seasons and 2400 episodes starting early 80s and recently finished...

Anyone know where I can get them? I do have S01 on DVD.

Last of the Summer Wine is the longest-running comedy programme in Britain, and the longest running situation comedy in the world. Each series has between six and twelve episodes; most were thirty minutes in length, with some specials running longer. There were 295 episodes and 31 series between 1973 and 2010, counting the pilot, all episodes of the series, specials, and two films.

Taggart is a Scottish detective television programme, created by Glenn Chandler, who has written many of the episodes, and made by STV Productions for the ITV network. The series revolves around a group of detectives initially in the Maryhill CID of Strathclyde Police, though various storylines have happened in other parts of the Greater Glasgow area, and as of the most recent series the team have operated out of the fictional John Street police station across the street from the City Chambers. It is one of the UK's longest-running dramas and is the longest-running police drama after the cancellation of The Bill.

Wish it was that easy. S1-3 are there, some s06 and the rest are literally scattered episodes from random seasons - as little as one or two in most cases. e.g. Season 4 (3 episodes) and Season 5 (nothing). It's been the hardest thing to find for me.
