Not sure if this has been asked, but what wallets support Bitcoin Gold? I've been using Exodus, which doesn't support it, so I presume I need to export the private key, import into a wallet that supports Gold, and then transfer that onto an exchange?

Id think thats a good point, I set up my alerts to let me know when it gets there, then buy
then see what happens when the price rebounds up to 90K or even 100K by the end of the year.

On the Bitcoin blockchain, block 491,407 was duplicated and a brand new chain from there for Bitcoin Gold. If you had Bitcoin at that block (about yesterday morning 4am), then you have your Bitcoin Gold no matter where you move your Bitcoin now. It only mattered for that one, single block.

Yeah but I think he meant if he sold his Bitcoin and rebought later. I think then you wouldn't have it right?

If he sells his Bitcoin now, it doesn't matter. It's like having completely different coins. It's not tied to your Bitcoin balance at all and trading Bitcoin does not affect it after that block.

Only if he sold before the fork block, would it have mattered.

Ah yes, that makes sense, as he would somewhere have BTG to the same value which hasn't been sold. Makes sense....guess it is up to Luno or whoever you are using to keep track of that :wtf:
