I think it's the pascal algorithm, nicehash keeps kicking over to pascal, I turned it off because it makes my pc unusable.

I suppose it's GPU ? For CPU (and I think some GPU's) you can go to settings->Devices/Algorithms-> click on device, click on Pascal (sgminer) then specify the number of threads to substract which will then leave cores avaiable for conventional computing. Also if overclocking the GPU the driver may become unstable so reduce or remove overclocking (after testing thread substraction)

Ok great thanks, looks like neoscrypt is also hitting $4 now.

Does anyone know what hardware is best to mine Pascal? My 980ti is doing over $4 at the moment but I can't do much else while it's mining Pascal, equihash gives me a dollar less but I can still use my pc.

For comparison I just tested Pascal (excavator, sgminer dissapeared from list ) on a gtx 1050, get max $1.44 per day [then GH/s goes up but income drops to $0.47 per day,:confused:], with CPU mining also enabled total goes up to max $2.09 per day then down again to $1.22 per day at same H/s :confused::confused:[ (cryptonight on fx 8300 using 7 cores)

Yeah it's acting up, was showing $4.50 a day for about 10mins then suddenly dropped to $1.40

How do you buy ETH when you already own BTC via Luno? When I go to exchange I can't see the option to trade for ETH.

You buy them on another exchange like bitfinex. Thor says this however is an easier option.

I'll try that thanks.

Keep in mind that you cannot currently withdraw fiat from Bitfinex if you decide to use them. So if you sell coins there for fiat you'll have to buy some or other crypto to get your money out.

Try coinbase. Can transfer your BTC there and buy eth. Their mobile app is cool too.
Don't use coinbase very unsafe and has been hacked countless times. Your keys are stored on their servers terrible.

Will expand more add pics of the whole farm later etc.

Would you divulge how much a single 6 GPU rig costs? I see everyone builds very similar frames, is there a link online to how it is done, including dimensions? Riser cables seem hard to find or i'm looking in the wrong place, where did you buy yours? Sorry I have so many questions. :D

Go ask these mofo questions on the mofo forum.

Haha, if you buy one rig it works out to about 50k per rig, but with the quantities we buy it's much lower closer to 40k. The GPUs is the pricy bit.

Frame you just ask a wood shop I'll post a thread how to build a couple there's better varieties.

Risers you import its all sold out in SA

That does seem pretty cheap considering 6 x 1070's are already over 40K

1 x BTC - R27664 I would have made a decent sum if i left mine in there
