To cash out my bitcoin.. I would need to transfer from mycelium to luno, then sell btc to Rands.

For argument sake, during this storm, how long is it likely to take?

I bought R1000 worth in aug last year - its now sitting at R3500! If you want to you can trade it - sell when its high and buy when its low, but to figure out when is not easy - you can make money by doing that

Its expensive to send btc and buy on cex.io

$30 per transaction give or take. Not that bad with a big amount? Definitely not worth 10 - 15% margin. Why would you exchange on cex.io? There are cheaper exchanges like Binance?

You should have a lot more than that of you got in Aug last year, unless you’ve been cashing out along the way.

Very suspicious about how it dropped from exactly $14400 to $14000 in a second on Bitfinex. Something fishy going on.

Someone is gaming the market. Something feels wrong. Not as obvious as when they tried to pump Bitcoin Cash the last time, but it feels wrong. If it all drops right now, I'd lose R3150. Honestly, if I'd continued buying in '13, this is when I would have cashed out.

Don't think Luno could take much more of a rising price will probably crash and burn with the load

This is insane.
A few months ago I just wanted to store some of my buyout money in something with proper growth potential while waiting for my Joint to Single bond transfer to be completed...
Now I'm almost looking at settling my bond if I wanted to.

As much as I love BTC I don't think this party will last forever...then again, there are folks that must be used to this for years now.
Thinking of at least pulling my initial investment with some extra. Tough call.

One thing is for certain, looking at actual commercial usage transactions (roughly only 0.6% from what I've read) Bitcoin isn't actually being used the way it was intended to so it's waaaay over valued... who knows what's going to happen.

Jisis, I've been putting off posting this because you murrafukkas will laugh.

Last night at $12 997, I shapeshifted ALL my BTC to DCR thinking that surely BTC should start correcting now. When I got to the office I almost fell off my fscking chair :wtf:

My wallet is held in Exodus on a PC at home.

I don't think anyone can blame you for thinking/doing that.
I don't mess with my BTC no matter what happens but in my mind I was thinking the same as you were, that the correction was about to happen (you know that itchy feeling in your nutsack)... almost had to change the linen on my bed when I woke up this morning.

If that is your financial goal and you can do it by selling now, then go for it.
