boggling where all these sellers are coming from -- could be very few groups of people who own 1000's of coins.

Or bots cancelling orders just before they would be fulfilled

edit: just think about it a little bit - whats the daily volume at? What was the total of the wall? Now do you think the wall was broken through or cancelled?

moment of truth coming ....either we double bottom and bounce.

or the floor disappears and we fall into open space!!!

I actually hope we do fall through the floor into open space. That run-up from 3k to 20k was ridiculous and pretty much a straight line. I missed out on a lot on that bull run and wouldn't mind a second shot at getting some super-cheap sub 8k coins.

then you might as well short until it reaches 8k, then use the money to purchase more bitcoin, win win

Negative, I watched the feed, it was all bought, my first thought was cancels, but nope, it was 5 or 6 munches and it was gone, all 1400 of em, out of no where

What makes you think I'm not? I trade on the way up and on the way down.

But the lower the absolute price of BTC is the more of it I get with each successful trade.

My feeling is that when countries start releasing central bank backed cryptos on their own blockchains bitcoin will become but a fond memory

Nobody wants a centralized crypto. That is worse than fiat.

I’m a little surprised at some of the comments. I would have thought more people on this thread would be true long-term believers in BTC. Sure making a quick buck is always fun, but fundamentals are more important in my view.

I don’t think we yet realise the true impact this disruptive technology will have on the world.

Exactly. This slump is a good thing. The Bitfinex/Tether issue can be resolved, the SEC can have their meeting. All the governments can finally realise they can't stop Bitcoin/Crypto

THEN the sparks will start to fly. BTC will take over the world and we will see the $50k/$100k and more value of BTC.

This dump is the last chance at the bite of the apple a lot of folks will have.....

I am a long-term believer in crypto.

Those guys that took out massive loans, dipped into their access bonds etc. to buy Bitcoin at $16,000...

Still HODL? xD xD

Srsly tho. WTF is going on...

I think FB blocking all ICO ad's was a death blow
