How many of those are real?
Probably half. I tried to sign it, but didn't. You need to complete some personal information and say you are British. So it is more than just clicking a bottom that says remain.

Leave got 17 million votes in the actual referendum, 2 million on a petition might be a lot but it's nowhere near the amount of people that want to leave.

Thing is, though - from what I can see there is literally nothing else that can be done. So what good would a 'reset' do? That's what the EU is saying (and the Speaker, essentially). There's a deal, take it or leave it. Parliament chose to reject it. They can't also lay the blame at May's feet if they rejected the only 2 options available.

So either revoke Article 50, or accept No Deal is happening, and prepare accordingly.

I see Labour have also claimed they want the extension period to negotiate a 'better deal' - which is also fantasy land stuff.

I don’t understand the whole “better deal” thing.. they not in a position to get a better deal. Since I reckon most will not want to revoke the exit I reckon no deal.

Maybe they learn what a sweet deal they had.. ironically while the avg oke who doesn’t fully understand things there is not an overwhelming majority.. guess they all have to learn to think before they vote, something we need in SA.

I wonder what the comments would be if the situation where to be reversed :)

Was asking because some of the locations the petition was signed in (including Russia, Cuba and North Korea) were leaked.

Number 10 is understood to be considering allowing parliament to vote on seven alternative options next week amid growing fears that Theresa May will not get her plan through the House of Commons.

A senior minister in the government told Sky News that plans are being drawn up to give MPs a choice between revoking Article 50, a second referendum, the prime minister's deal, her deal plus a customs union, the deal plus a customs union and single market access, a standard free-trade agreement, or a no-deal Brexit.
