No, it can't be. I thought BoJo was playing 5D chess and had painted everyone into a corner and the UK was going to leave with no deal on the 31st...
But he is supposed to be this super smart 5D chess player who was outplaying everyone, so how did he get this so wrong? What was he supposed to do? You tell us?
Everything he tried has been blocked by Remoaners.

So nothing...
Got it.
But he is fscking awesome. He did everything he humanly could do, the January deadline extension is a short one and is basically long enough only to guarantee BoJo's re-election, which will be when round 2 starts, only with the territory much more amenable to BoJo's machinations.Of course nothing... I'm taking the piss out of BoJo and his ardent "he's so fscking awesome" supporters....

Have you seen which party is well in the lead in the polls? He's certainly outplaying the main opposition.
And no Brexiteer is going to blame Boris for the extension. You're mad if you think the broad electorate will fall for that.
Theresa May did what BOJO did and it was a calamitous disaster according to the press and many here.So when Theresa May fails it is her fault, but when Boris Johnson fails it is other people's fault. Boris and his supporters must be lefty social justice warriors.
Odds are it'll be another hung (or very slim majority) parliament if it's fought on Brexit lines so probably not wise to get too cocky yet.
If that's at all possible for you...

Now it is 5D chess and he had no choice. As if May had any other choices in the matter.
No he didn't... He didn't try stick to his promise at all. He just kept shifting the goalposts and trying to look like a victim.Err...the very big difference is that BoJo at least tried to stick to his promise - e.g. holding a sitting on a Saturday etc. Brexiteers are responding positively to that. One never got the sense that TMay was trying at all.
You are aware of how the UK voting system works hey? Considering you're so knowledgeable on politics....You are obviously not up to date with the very latest polls which give Tories double digit leads - a very healthy majority. If you think that the 2019 Tory electoral campaign will be as bad as the 2017 one you are mistaken (mainly because BoJo is far more charismatic than TMay). Furthermore, Lib Dems will peel off many Labour Remainer voters. Also the Brexit Party, while unlikely to win any seats, can also appeal to Labour Brexiteers who will never vote Tory.
