The certainty of being chained to a sinking ship is preferable? :crylaugh:Yep. That uncertainty will totally be good for trade & the economy. 10/10. Lets do it. :crylaugh:
British overseas territories != United Kingdom ...
Gibraltar is part of U.K.:
The 14 British Overseas Territories (BOT) are territories under the jurisdiction and sovereignty of the United Kingdom.[1][2] They are the parts of the British Empire that have not been granted independence or have voted to remain British territories. These territories do not form part of the United Kingdom and, with the exception of Gibraltar, are not part of the European Union.

Narrowband is right...
Only the frothy mad Ukipper types dream of a new system with no immigrants arriving (of course that only applies to immigrants who are Eastern Europeans and those of a darker skin).
With Nigel Farage making his plans to emigrate or move to Germany I suppose someone like Godfrey "Bongo Bongo" Bloom would be their style of figurehead.
Favourite saying:
"I'm not racist but immigration has caused [insert ills of the world]..."
https://www.facebook.com/Channel4NewsDemocracy/videos/1256585151086092/Brexit represents the biggest sacrifice of British sovereignty that I can remember.
It is the biggest sacrifice of British self interest I know of.
Ireland is set to benefit from Australian companies seeking access to the EU after Brexit, Australia’s foreign minister has said.
Julie Bishop told The Irish Times that the uncertainty surrounding Brexit presented a “real opportunity” for Australian firms to look to Ireland rather than Britain for access to EU markets.
“Many Australian firms have accessed the EU via Britain. With the uncertainty surrounding what a post-Brexit Britain will look like, I believe Australian firms will look to Ireland to fulfil that role,” she said.
“Ireland has a very attractive business environment, low corporate tax rates, [a good] lifestyle and there is the connection between Australia and Ireland.
“There are similar regulatory systems and similar legal systems. There is an ease of doing business here that would be attractive to Australian investors. I would see firms in Australia as having real potential in that regard.”
She described Ireland as an “obvious partner” to do business within the EU. “Ireland is superbly positioned to attract that kind of engagement from Australian business. I see this as a great opportunity of how we, Australia and Ireland, can take advantage of what has occurred in Brexit.”
Someone clearly has no clue what the word 'sovereignty' means :wtf:
/snip
Yes they are nou going to be more sovereign, have more independent control.Well just look it up in a dictionary if you don't understand the word. Here, I'll help you out this once:
http://www.dictionary.com/browse/sovereignty

2.
the status, dominion, power, or authority of a sovereign;royal rank or position; royalty.
3.
supreme and independent power or authority in government as possessed or claimed by a state or community.
4.
rightful status, independence, or prerogative.
5.
a sovereign or independent state, community, or political unit.
:crylaugh: wow thanks for proving my point, not one single definition speaking about your negotiating power with other states eh? Imagine that ...
You need yet more spoon feeding? My point of course was the idiot in the source you posted has no clue about the meaning of the word, you've insisted on letting the world know that you don't know either:erm: your point was that you didn't understand the word sovereign?

Sovereignty has sweet f-all to do with your negotiating power with other states, except of course you being the sovereign dictates that they must negotiate with you and no-one else for access to your market.
So while people can debate the negotiating power the UK lost (and yes it is an open debate, the alarmists like that old fool in your source are way off base and is spewing complete crap), they CANNOT in any dictionary interpretation of the word 'sovereignty' claim that Brexit negatively impacts the UK's sovereignty, it simply demonstrates a lack of English grammar education on the part of any person who makes the claim.
Remainers are spinning that this proves they were right about an exodus from the City. Except if you look at what Lloyd’s chief executive Inga Beale has actually said this morning, it’s a very different picture:
“It’s not moving our whole London base, it’s just setting up an EU subsidiary.”
Chairman John Nelson confirms:
“London will remain the major financial centre for Europe. It’s certainly going to remain the major financial centre for Lloyd’s.”
How many people will be working in the Lloyd’s Brussels office? Nelson says it will be in the “tens, not the hundreds”. Lloyd’s of London has 995 staff. It is just untrue for Remainers to say this is evidence of a exodus from London.
