Clear, and classic, OD complete lack of comprehension and logic.Brilliant NBFTW logic as usual. May asks for a delay, EU grants it. "EU folds!"

The EU has been talking a big game for over 2 years of how it is ready for no deal, how there will be no further negotiations, how there will be no extension. They have folded on that bluff, not once, not twice, at least three times by:
- having the courts clarify that the UK can unilaterally revoke article 50
- agreeing to the first extension
- now agreeing to yet another extension
they folded, anyone with a brain can see it, but it would seem the UK parliament is filled with people more closely aligned with your level of intellect, which is why the UK is screwed no matter what
oh come off it, I gave you three specific examples where the EU backed down from a prior hard lineI realise you're chronically incapable of understanding this, but their position has always been that hard Brexit is bad for both and it should be avoided if at all possible. It's not "folding" if you're sticking to your original position.
Folding is what the Brexiteers now backing May's deal are doing.
This letter will be given to you by an intelligent Englishman; they are generally very able fellows, with whom I should like to pass some time in their own country.
The Society had comforted his last days, and that event on the brink of the grave he thanked the Society and the whole English nation for the great gift, God bless them.’
England will ever be considered the highest and best friend of that man, who was so much distinguished by nature.
They played a snippet of May's talk this morning on the radio, she seemed to say that the extension is October but it will happen sooner hopefully on them reaching an agreement on the UK side of the water. She was hoping to have agreement in place and acted on by either the start or end of June I think, can't quiet recall.
Seemed to be wishful thinking considering how little agreement there has been to date, but good luck to her.
LIVE: Civil service told to stand down no-deal Brexit operational planning - Sky sources
'Objective is to wind down no-deal planning in an orderly way'
Sky News has seen a letter from a senior Whitehall source that makes the announcement.
It says: "In common with the rest of government, we have stood down our no-deal operational planning with immediate effect.
"This morning, at a meeting chaired by the cabinet secretary, we agreed that the objective is to ensure we wind down our no-deal planning in a careful, considered and orderly way."
anyone seriously dumb enough to believe there was active prepping for no deal happening for "over two years"?!?
oh come off it, I gave you three specific examples where the EU backed down from a prior hard line
do you deny the EU explicitly said there will be no delays previously? would you like some articles to that effect?
that was a hard line, it no longer is, they folded
and there aren't any actual brexiteers backing May's plan, only fair weather flip-flopping faux brexiteers, that's the only type in the UK parliament
https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/...cision-extending-the-period-under-article-50/No, you didn't. You named some things that you claim are hard lines, but they never claimed are. While their actual original position has still not changed.
Under the European Council decision, in the event that the withdrawal agreement is approved by the House of Commons by 29 March 2019 at the latest, the extension will be until 22 May 2019. In the event that the withdrawal agreement is not approved by the House of Commons by 29 March 2019, the extension will be until 12 April 2019

oh look, the agreement has NOT been approved by 29 March, and yet the extension is NOT until 12 April
yeah they didn't fold at all
not a single mention of 31 October, yet no agreement approved = the EU foldedYour word NOT changes the wording of the quote, there’s no “not” in the dates. The agreement was until the 12th, not from the 12th...
not a single mention of 31 October, yet no agreement approved = the EU folded
would you like that drawn in crayon?

In that event, the UK will indicate a way forward before 12 April 2019, for consideration by the European Council.
I think you keep all your crayons, you need them.
How would your linked press release dated 22/03/19 have any mention of the 31/10/19 date that was only agreed on yesterday?
PS
You have seen your mistake in the way you interpreted that statement about the 12th?
