So you don't think that Germany dominates the EU, Buka?
Why do you say Germany controls the EU?Germany now controls the EU with diplomacy under the EU flag.

If he doesn't then why does he have two pictures. One with Nazi Germany subducating European countries and one as Germany in the EU subducating countries?
Everyone else here acknowledged the comparison.
This doesn't even make sense.Emotional? Bursting out in laughter at how someone who ran out of something smart to say decides to play like a child in a sandpit, sure then I was emotional.
Because EU economic policy is geared towards German interests and everyone else's interests take a back seat. Why do you say Germany controls the EU?
Can you give an example of how EU economic policy is geared towards German interests above everyone else? Given that all decisions in the EU require voting unanimously, by all members, or by majority voting in some cases, how is it that Germany controls the EU? Germany occupies 13% of the entire legislature, hardly close to a majority.Because EU economic policy is geared towards German interests and everyone else's interests take a back seat.
Sorry, maybe you'd like to not put words in my mouth. Can you give an example of how EU economic policy is geared towards German interests above everyone else? What do you mean? You said:Sorry, maybe you'd like to not put words in my mouth.
I asked:Because EU economic policy is geared towards German interests and everyone else's interests take a back seat.
I then pointed out that economic policy is unanimously voted upon. Can you give an example of how EU economic policy is geared towards German interests above everyone else?
Where did I say Germany controls anything? What do you mean? You said:

So how is that putting words in your mouth?![]()
Oh right, so EU economic policy is geared towards German interests above everyone else but not because Germany controls anything. Ok. I haven't seen your examples and I do want to address them.Where did I say Germany controls anything?
I've already given examples. If you don't want to address them, that's not my problem.
That doesn't necessarily require a deal ( a trade deal that is), the UK could unilaterally decide to grant them residence if they so chose. The problem would be if the EU doesn't grant similar rights to UK citizens in Europe in which case the UK might use that as a bargaining chip to gain a similar concession from the EU.

I really don't get the whole anti-EU sentiment. It's done more for peace, stability, democracy and prosperity for it's members than any other organisation or group in the world. Yes, some countries, like Greece, are having a tougher time than others, but before joining the EU Greece moved from a dictatorship to a military regime, continuous fighting and political crisis, so it seems to me they are still better off for joining the EU. Countries that were enemies, at war, for centuries have been living together peacefully for over 80 years now. I can't think of anywhere better to live in the world today than in the EU, and I'm including the UK in that statement.
gotta say if your kindergarten knew Japanese you either must be Japanese or some very spoilt prep school child/snip emotional drivel
Japanese no, French, German and Spanish yes.gotta say if your kindergarten knew Japanese you either must be Japanese or some very spoilt prep school child![]()
spoilt prep school child apparently confirmed then?Japanese no, French, German and Spanish yes.

Germany's economic success is based on many factors other than EU economic policy being geared towards German interests above everyone else. They would be a successful economy in or out of the EU. I would like examples of how EU economic policy is geared towards German interests above everyone else, as was claimed.OK. Very simple example:
The Deutschemark would be far stronger than the Euro, which reflects the "pool" of countries in the EU (or at least the ones that use the Euro). It's no accident that Germany has one of the biggest current account surpluses in the world, you know.
Dripping with irony there mr virtue signaller. You have yet to explain why your misinterpretation of a cartoon represents ignorance on the part of the cartoonist.Anyway, when you decide to move past childish insults and you have found something intellectual to use in a discussion, shall we move on to there?
Virtue signalling to russian propaganda is fun, but at least find a semblance of intellectual merit to enable you to defend it.
