The Brexit Thread

No, but I seem to recall a post saying you are not opposed to Brexit. Maybe people think you are against it because you're not frothing at the mouth like they are.
It confuzzles their little minds that someone could post negative things about the process and all that, but not necessarily be against it happening....

You do realise that anarchy is probably as far removed from communism as it can be?

Can you point out even a single post where I've pretended to be "communist anarchist"?
You should look up what the red and black actually stand for.

So if you are not a communist? You are just confused and like setting things on fire?

People take posts that criticise other posters for posting rubbish as proof that you must therefore support the opposing viewpoint. It's a sign of poor intellectual ability.

;)

Classic contradiction in terms. Make a word soup to sound smart.

Maybe you should...

The red flag was one of first anarchist symbols and it was widely used in late 19th century by anarchists worldwide.[4] Peter Kropotkinpreferred the use of the red flag.[5]

Use of the red flag by anarchists disappeared after the October Revolution, when red flags started to be associated only with communist parties and bureaucratic, reformist and authoritarian social democracy.

The red banner, which has always stood for liberty, frightens the executioners because it is so red with our blood. [...] Those red and black banners wave over us mourning our dead and wave over our hopes for the dawn that is breaking.[6][7]
Louise Michel

The circle-A is almost certainly the best-known present-day symbol for anarchy. It is a monogram that consists of the capital letter "A" surrounded by the capital letter "O". The letter "A" is derived from the first letter of "anarchy" or "anarchism" in most European languages and is the same in both Latin and Cyrillic scripts. The "O" stands for order and together they stand for "society seeks order in anarchy" (French: la société cherche l'ordre dans l'anarchie), a phrase written by Pierre-Joseph Proudhon

I've said the same myself. Do it properly for the good of the country, not for the benefit of some politicians career.

100%...

I am against Brexit at this point in the way it is being done and all that, because its not for the good of the country.... if it was, I'd support it (even though my support or not has no impact on it whatsoever)

You should also answer all the points I raised about Chris, seeing as it seemed to be of such interest to you prior to your attempt to change the subject.

He should also answer the points about the UK selling out to the EU, and the world being run from Germany as well...

I would definitely agree. But who am I to go and tell anarchist communist like dave that their world view is a contradiction and that communism doesn't work.

Or even that they are confused for supporting the remoaners because of their political view they should not be supporting big unelected government.

He is referring to you mixing totally contradictory terms in an effort to sound smart...

Yes, same here.

I oppose Brexit. Voted Remain, but I am at the point where I realistically understand that you cannot go back and you have to make the best deal possible.

Yet, I cannot see this happening. So we will get what we get. At this point, anything that avoids a no deal Brexit, will be ok.

That is where the actual example used comes from.

But I do enjoy helping to educate the ignorant like @rietrot who apparently just uses words without really knowing their meaning.

Hey, I know it. I'm still a punk since 1978. My music, my life.

Although it's against my own views, FWIW, I also believe Brexit should be delivered as promised.

Edit: oops, posted too early by accident, was going to say I agree no deal should be avoided at all costs but that doesn't mean grasping at straws because Boris the liar is trying to save his career.
