Elon and Brexit about the Gigafactory and Germany...
Why would he lie about that though, what is the motivation? And it does make sense, doesn't it? If you're going to be building cars for the European markets, the UK is the last place you want to base yourself at this point, when you still don't know the implications Brexit will have in reaching your markets. Setup in the EU and you have guaranteed easy access to the entire EU, no customs, no restrictions on movement, employment, parts, etc. Set up in the UK and who knows what you'll be facing in the future to reach the EU markets.

Cos Brexit will make the UK GREAT and Strong, and the EU will need to bow to the UK cos the UK is that awesome

Elon is therefore lying by claiming it Brexit is one of the concerns the made him choose Germany. Angela did something naughty and illegal and she is a Nazi... that must be it.

**Turning off sarcasm and what not**

I 100% agree with your post. That kind of investment to reach the EU market makes no sense to put into the UK at this point. The UK scored a monumental own goal with Brexit on this front.

But the EU are evil bastards out to destroy the UK.

Well obviously Musk is plotting with the EU to undermine the UK. They're all in on it. You can see what our heroic fighters for Brexit are up against.

They're still tethered to it, so why wouldn't they? And even when they aren't, one would still expect them to help each other out in times of need - it's the neighbourly thing to do.
Yes, at least the EU can maintain the decorum of the "neighbourly thing to do" and don't blame all their internal failures on the UK, the same way in which the UK and much of the UK press have been doing for years.

Funny how the UK want to exploit the "it's the neighbourly thing to do" when they need it, but all to happy to cry about how evil the EU is when it suits them?
