The Conservatives had their complaint about the ice sculpture in Johnson's chair at the Channel 4 debate rejected by the regulator.

Ofcom rejects Conservative Party complaint over ice sculpture on Channel 4 climate debate

A complaint from the Conservatives over a melting ice sculpture used to represent Prime Minister Boris Johnson during a Channel 4 climate debate has been rejected, regulator Ofcom said.

Ofcom said the sculpture was not supposed to “personally” represent Mr Johnson and that little editorial focus was given to the object throughout the debate.

you expect someone to read through that novel length meaningless drivel?!?

No, I definitely don't expect you to base your opinion on any substance.

that aside, the number of times they repeat the word manifesto should have anyone's commie-detector at least beeping,

So the Conservative Party are communists, too - since they also call it their manifesto? Bad news, @Chris_the_Brit - you're a commie, now.

then there is this, which is taken directly from Karl Marx himself, and paraphrased to sound enlightened and "modern":

at least Marx didn't faff about with unnecessarily lengthy phrases to say the same:

or are you about to argue Marx is #NotRealCommunism ?

That's it? Hahahaha.

Dominic Raab has admitted that the US will be free to charge higher prices for drugs bought by the NHS after Brexit, but insisted the prospect is “hugely unlikely”.

Asked if Washington would be free to “jack up prices”, the foreign secretary replied: “The Americans will take their decisions.”

He then claimed: “I think it’s hugely unlikely, why would they do that?” – prompting Sky News interviewer Adam Boulton to say: “To get more money, that’s why.”

The comments come after documents released by Labour revealed that drug pricing has been discussed by US and UK negotiators in exploratory talks.

How much work does it have to be to pretend to be this stupid?

oh god, even your namesake, after months of non-drinking, which as you know is fatal to bending units, would know wtf communism is and what paraphrased communism with a sugar coating is

your lack of comprehension is only surpassed by your ignorance, don't let logic stop you though, wallow in it, it is fun to watch!
Hey man, you're the one that admitted you don't know what the party's economic policies actually are. Yet you feel very confident to classify them. That would be an example of actual ignorance fyi.

But you go right ahead, so we can entertain each other.

So you must have skipped right over the part where I quoted bits of their economic manifesto (note: that's what they call it) verbatim ... ergo, I obviously read it.

No I did not read the entire manifesto, it is long as shyte and even the commies who vote for the commie party should have better things to do than indulge in senseless verbal (or written as is the case) diarrhea.

howzit pot, if you read that whole thing I'll be a monkey's uncle

Do they also repeat the word manifesto, within the manifesto, at least 100 times? Seeing as repetitive use was the point, nobody made any claim whatsoever about a one off or limited use, that's all in your scrambled brain.

That's it? Hahahaha.
No that is not it, that is as far as anyone with a brain needs to read to understand the tone being set. If you wanna be a commie, then just own it, be proud, but at least don't deny it comrade OD.

By the way, if anyone uses FireFox Quantum, you can install the Bypass Paywall add-on. Just discovered it while using the Google workaround to read FT articles, with yet another article predicting Raab's downfall. Oh please.... Surrey is a quintessential English county, they've got no time for illiberal democrats who are the antithesis of the British notion of "fair play".

Must say, I like the relationship uncovered between house prices and the Lib Dem vote share:

That clip supports Raab's point that it was a misrepresentation of what he said.
Well yes, it does support what he is saying in so much as its not on the table in terms of the trade deal. What that does mean is that the US companies can jack the prices as they see fit.

Jo Swinson certainly knows how to sabotage the LibDems popularity in the run up to the election.
Saw something about her denying claims that the party was selling people's info to the Remain campaign. But recently received something from her in the mail telling me that she also feels that services offered by institutions like Kingston hospital are vital to the NHS and the UK - I've spent quite a bit of time there in the last year and a half, so at least we know they're buying our info.
