On my Mac I find Safari quickest and most efficient. Power indicator is always stating Chrome is using a lot of energy.

Edge and Chrome for me are the quickest as they are both chromium based
Opera GX is a bit slower but has a lot of features and uses less resources

I hear good things about Brave Browser but i've never used it myself

I've tried all the main ones on my M1 Mac and settled on Firefox Developer Edition.

Currently using Brave on my M1 Mac. Also using it on my Redmi Note 8. The sync feature is pretty handy.

I'll probably move to Safari when my phone dies and I replace it with an iFruit

It's tricky, I think the best browser to use on the mac ecosystem is Safari, it uses the least amount of battery and ram and works most of the time with everything. Your history will be synced across all devices and the new Save Tabs feature coming in IOS 15 and Safari for mac is great. You can try it now with Safari Technology browser.

Problem is, you always need a backup browser with Safari. Mine is brave or Firefox, both have great teams, founders and their ethos is so much better than Chrome.
