The Case for DSTV?

Hi All

Looking at the DSTV Premium solution and DSTV Now streaming.

Scenario as follows:

Team up with family member. (brother in law)
Brother in Law - Subscribe to DSTV Premium service for 12 months at R769 per month.
Show max subscription is also included in the above as well as DSTV Now streaming.
Brother in Law will watch DSTV on his PVR decoder as normal.
I will watch it on DSTV Now using the streaming service as stream ShowMax as well on my Andriod Box to TV (using Brother in Law login details)

Splitting the bill 50/50 this amounts to R395p/m each which gives us both full DSTV movies, sports and Showmax.

This does not sound like a bad deal? Am I missing something obvious here?

I don't know of anyone that has DSTV that isn't sharing it. Usually its the parents with the dish and then the kids use the login.

Make sure your Android player supports DSTV Now + do you have suffice internet to stream
