A short review of the cave.

"The Cave is a new adventure game from Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert, and Double Fine Productions, the award-winning studio behind Psychonauts and Brütal Legend.

Assemble your team of three from seven unlikely adventurers, each with their own unique personalities and stories, then descend into the mysterious depths to explore locations including a subterranean amusement park and a medieval castle, not to mention a fully armed and ready-to-launch nuclear tipped ICBM. The Cave awaits." Source

Played this over the weekend.
Graphics:
The graphics was amazing, if I had to compare it to an existing game's graphics then I would say Trine 1.

Gameplay:
Gameplay was fun and controls were not a challenge to get used to. I played it on a Xbox Controller for PC and it was really easy to play with.
The puzzles were challenging but not extremely hard. I had at one stage resorted to using a walkthrough. I played through with all the characters.
Had some issues with characters getting stuck in awkward positions but noting a bit of button mashing didn't fix.

Storyline:
Well every character has its own storyline which you collect in Cave Paintings. Each Character having his unique symbol. The story was ok you kinda expect the outcome to most before the end but the art presented when activating a cave painting was good (but hey I'm not a artist).
The best part of this game was the 3rd Person narrator which was really funny.
The comedy was a bit dark but not enough to cross the line into "Oh lord that's sick"
I could be wrong but each of the characters resembled one of the seven deadly sins.

My verdict a 9 out of 10 and for 135 bucks its worth every cent.

Cost: About R135 (Steam)
Download Size: 1.1 GB
Platforms Available PC, MAC, Linux (Steam), Xbox Live, Playstation Network and Wii U eShop.

(My apologies if it was a bad review. Just wanted to share my love for this game)
