I posted last year on a theory i had with the energy crisis the world for example oil.
Now i dont know if this is a offtopic or a science topic

What i was saying last year was that if the arab countries pushed up oil prices due to low levels which is no where near the truth as today they announced that they have sufficient stocks and more so to speak.

Just imagine if a alternate energy was developed this would push the price of oil down right.

Now i know or i think that battery powered cars is the way of the future.I mean there will be a car like this coming to SA for R50000 and it would cost R200 a month to run. This cars top speed is 60km/h..yes i know it sux:Dbut look at the saving. So the world will be getting these, now what do you think will happening in the oil industry.Seeing that less oil will be bought per barrel

Does this mean that petrol will become dirt cheap in the next 20 years:eek:

As the search for alternative fuels continues, the price of oil shall increase. The Saudis need to make the most of what is potentially a fatal situation for their economy.

It isnt really a conspiracy theory as such. We know that they intentionally limit the supply to drive up the price, and the Saudis funded major trading companies who became speculators on the oil market - hence a further increase in oil price. There is no supply issue and demand was both forecast and relatively stable.

They are attempting to milk us for all they can for as long as they are allowed to do so. IMO, the overall picture is one of the biggest financial conspiracies of all time (bigger than the US gold price over-statement in the early 90s) with much colusion and many chinese walls being broken on a daily basis as the commodities trade is not heavily regulated from a financial point of view AFAIK.
