My thoughts on 101 (from the Series thread):
Took a while to pull out of 1st gear, so to speak, but then it gained solid momentum.
Backstory gives us great insight into Winston, combat scenes are done in the style of the films ie. high quality.
Good soundtrack selection & backdrop.
The very ending has an immensely quotable JW line.
I'm sold, looking forward to the 2 other episodes.

the cars in episode one are off the hook - that Mustang and the Red Corvette driven by the guy who loses his fingers
that Mustang looks like the same car that John Wick was driving in the first John Wick movie that got stolen by the mob bosses ar5ehole kid????? (probably restored after what happened here or a replica at the very least)
and yes i enjoyed the soundtrack selection as well

The amount of reviewers and woke types crying in their soup about the casting of Mel Gibson is glorious. Expect to see a whole cohort on here moaning about their sensibilities soon.

Tbh I have not personally seen about big commotion about MG’s casting.

102 Clocks in at 1h19min, still delivers the goods for me.
Solid storytelling, more actions scenes in 2nd epi.

So 103, the finale, dropped earlier & I can share my overall view of the limited series.
Running time for 103 finale is just under 1h40mins, its a lengthy watch, it does not drag too badly.
The finale is easily the best epi of the trio, mostly due to it's large amount of good combat scenes, most of them have that JW style. The story is neatly wrapped up at the end.
Personally I enjoyed Mel G's villain role, there was enough charisma without it being OTT or cheesy.
This is the type show that, for the most part, would only resonate with the JW fan.
Overall I would give it around a 7 outta 10. For a fair chunk there is enough entertainment & character development pay off.
Now we look forward to Ballerina.
