The cPanel bug of 2026

This bug is actually getting frustrating. I have projects on hold because of this.

Currently cPanel can not be installed because of a problem with the Almalinux repos

This must be pretty huge for them as no one can install their product unless you use Ubuntu (cPanels main distro line is Almalinux. )

I really do hope they fix this soon, would like to get my projects rolling. Im surprised this is not more widely reported as it impacts most new installs.

Anyone else annoyed by this or has experienced this?

Hi,

it's not a cPanel bug, the issue is with the Almalinux repository and cPanel is waiting on Almalinux to fix the repository error.
cPanel is reliant on Almalinux fixing this issue.

An alternative is the use the release candidate of cPanel (v134) and install it on Almalinux 10.1

Just to add, cpanel v134 is meant to move to the release tier in the next few days.
