I suspect it's psychological - because there shouldn't be any discernible difference in flavour.

I have nothing against beer in a can.
And by can I mean keg
Not sure what beer I feel like today yet :erm:
Oxygen ingress is your biggest problem in both canning and bottling. Apart from that aging becomes the next problem irrespective of bottle or canTechincally speaking beer will survive longer in a can than in a bottle.
As long as they canning process doesn't introduce too much oxygen into the beer - which severely reduces the shelf-life of the beer.
True if the can is aluminiumBought a couple of 4-packs yesterday, tastes really good.

To get on my soapbox, briefly, seriously folks, get over your bottle obsession. There is absolutely no valid, measurable reason why beer from a bottle is better than a can. As mentioned above, it keeps better in a can. It cools quicker in a can. You can take cans to concerts/the beach/festivals where glass is not allowed. It's better in pretty much every way. </rant>
I'll be drinking some homebrew later.
That's pretty much all I drink at home nowadays - spent far too much money on bad local craft over the last few years.
Now we talkin.Feeling like some Cederbrew Chubbyhead Stout though![]()
Now we talkin.
Liquor City detour?
Will make up for it tomorrow with some favouritesnot a good evening for craft, el diablo also not that impressive, seems anyone thinks they're a brewer these days
should have trusted my instinct, Flight of the Phoenix Porter by Knights Craft Beer is crap, there's very little info on the their label about who they are, there was a glut of different beers with a whole host of off sounding names like Thor, Guinevere, Knights etc and cheap looking labels (probably about 9 different beers), thought I'd give one a try and give them the benefit of the doubt, to gassy for a porter and got an off flavour that I can't identify.
I doubt I'll buy another of their beers
