The Craft Beer Thread

True, unless you buy from the same booze shop that all the students buy from - their stock moves real fast :coo:

God I hate Weiss....

I had their Pilsner at Capital Craft beer fest, that was yummy!

We all very quiet in here atm? What's going on? Tried all we can try?

I had a BrewDog Libertine Black Ale on Sat, that was totes amazeballs, followed it by a Birkenhead Chocolate Stout and it didn't hold a candle to it I'm afraid(flamesuit ON)

Not much will be good compared to a Libertine. Have you had the Fuller's Imperial Stout?

No need... Birkenhead makes very mediocre brews.

Ooh you'll get in trouble for that... I'm a big fan of the "Pride" although it's much better on tap compared to the bottle, and as mentioned above the Chocolate Stout.

Big fan of the Fuller's as well, they have/had a special at the Menlyn Checkers of the 4 Fuller's beers for R60 I think... Feed the honey one to the Mrs and I'm in heaven with the other 3 for the evening.

Tried three Long Beach beers today in bottles: IPA, Blonde Ale and Porter.

Boring.

Eish.
Three different beers and not one that sang sweet fizzy songs to your tongue?
Hope you found something decent to wash the taste out your mouth with.

It wasn't bad, just boring, like the Birkenheads beers (excl the Stout and the Pride).
