I prefer brunettes myself
Timing sucks. Got bronchitis so starting on anti-biotics which means no beer for a few days.
PS, these guys have a huge craft beer section. Was like a kid in a candy store.

I've never understood where this concept of antibiotics and no alcohol comes from, I've never followed it

I washed down my tablets with beer last week but never fully recovered. Best to do it "by the book" this time around. Hate being sick

I've never understood where this concept of antibiotics and no alcohol comes from, I've never followed it
There are a couple of anitbiotics that you cannot drink when you are on - Flagyl is one of them - leads to much nausea and vomiting.
But for the most part nothing happens - apparently this myth dates back to the 50s or so when people were prescribed penicilin for syphilis and the like - and were told to stay away from booze mainly just to keep them sober and not sleeping around and spreading their crotch rot.
With regards to Darling - I've never had a bad beer from them - they just don't brew the most exciting beers in the world - so if I have the choice I will order something else

Well I've now tasted all the Darling beers and I can honestly say Darling beer sucks /end. The Bone Crusher was the only time I can ever remember taking a few sips of a beer and then pouring the rest down the drain. Also too carbonated. It's like drinking a soft drink.
