The Craft Beer Thread

I'm a big fan of Birkenhead's beers. The honey blonde is one of my weekend favourites:D

I live in Birkenhead country so I get to taste it a lot. The Honey Blonde, Larger and Pilsner is basically tasteless imo. The Pride and Chocolate Stout is pretty good.

Pilsner is supposed to be very crisp in comparison to a lager, but I find their Pilsner to be utterly flat. Maybe they swapped the labels around?

Haven't found many craft lagers that I enjoy, but Birkenhead's I can drink.

The honey blonde, up to a point, is great. There's something about the taste that just gets too much after the first pint.

@dualmeister, how's the hang-up?

@OMB, did you at least try that Witbier?

I was looking forward to this one. Very gassy start which required some cleaning. More of a malty than a hoppy taste :/

Not craft but Makro had some Belgian beer at R10 a bottle.

Also couldn't resist the dumpies.
