^Nice. I quite liked the Happy Pills.
I don't really see many people posting Copperlake or Cederbrew here. Have I just missed it or are people seriously not drinking two of the best brewers beers for a reason?

And...
Any good?
Local beer is such a gamble - some are really awesome, other not so much.
Haha. I can relate![]()
Reminds me of a Quick Moose Tale...
About 7 years ago, I hosted a birthday braai for a good mate of mine...... he is a single guy and we just had a bunch of manne at the function....
The booze was flowing, and I mean flowing..... sometime in the afternoon, my mate wanted to go and fetch whisky from his garage, so off we went, lo and behold, the bottle was one of those collector bottles, think a 5lt bottle, on a stand..... White Horse...
He gave me the bottle and said I can have the whisky but once it was finished I should return the bottle to him...... something about coins......
HO was not impressed with this huge bottle of booze stuck in her pantry...... every weekend, I could be seen demolishing the bottle, but it never dropped in level.....
About 6 months later, HO cottoned on to the fact that I was topping up the big bottle with wee one's, the primary reason behind this covert operation being that I did not want HO seeing by how much that bottle dropped over weekend...... guess the signs of me being a raging alcoholic are all there.....![]()
My pal got his bottle back a year later.....
Just opened a finished my first ever sour beer - Cantillon Gueuze 100% Lambic.
It was damn tasty and nowhere near as sour as I thought it would be.
Wish I had several more to enjoy.
Trippel... Good...
^^^ At which establishment did you quaff such fine liquids? The counter in the backgrounds looks like someones home, but then there's the beer and the blackboard.
