The Craft Beer Thread

Joh! That's nice, the way it starts of with all that flavor and gives way to an alcohol hit at the end.

^^^ I think I've had a few Gallows duds. Curious to know what you think of it.

This one was really good. Kinda dry intense hops in a similar vein to kings block house.

What was disappointing this evening was the red sky Rauch bier. Smelled sour, tasted sour. Was such a let down after tasting how epic it was on tap at CTFOB.

I really think the Red Sky guys struggle with the bottling process. I won't touch their bottled stuff again

Most local breweries struggle with bottling beers.

To the point that I've stopped buying any local craft in bottles that I don't know.

Best to go to Wild Clover and try it there. They have a big play garden for kids which is one of the main reasons we go there.

Try the archery or clay pigeon shooting (at the back) and have a brewski afterwards.
Fun and refreshing morning.

BTW. To all the home brewers, not sure if Wild Clover still does this but you can donate your home brew to them and they'll sell/sample it as a guest beer. For obvious reasons you do not get any profit out of it, but might be a good way for you to get your beer to market or get wider variety of feedback. Like I said though, not sure if they still do it.

That's quite a clever idea - especially for those potentially looking at going pro.
