After a very hot day in CPT...a refreshing way to relax (get my buzz on):
A beautifully brewed 10% Belgium tripel. Was made using westmalle yeast and is about 5 months old. Will be aged longer but dam it's fine already.
Perfect effervescence touch of banana and caramel. Can't tell it's 10% no "hot alcohol" taste just warming. Will be a beautiful winter beer.

Definitely a theme developing here...I repacked my beer fridge and found 4 more of each of these. I thought I had finished them all and had tried to get more, but were told they're all gone.

Seems to be a boom in the super limited releases this year. Everyone is doing something weird and wonderful.
I dont know if its just me - look I understand Mazen fest beer etc is "seasonal" in germany but there is no reason it has to be seasonal here brewed same way as a lager and its dam delicious wish they were available all year round... I think brauhaus is all year

I was refilling my stash from the big cheaper bottle. I have a 10yo and a 12yo currently at home with throat infections.

What a pleasant surprise this stout turned out to be.
Very creamy mouthfeel for carbonated stout. Chocolate and coffee...with awesome dry finish. Loving this.
