I received AfroCaribbean's SANB mixed pack today...and just HAD to taste all 4. Well I know the Choc Shakes & Unicorns is a re-release, but still:
Awesome themed can...and it smells like a Pilsner...looks like one and tastes like one too. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Great start.

A West Coast IPA. Very hoppy smack in the mouth...but slightly metallic and not much fruit. Meh....

Then the NEIPA style Hazy Pale Ale. Great hops here with tropical fruit...papaya and pineapple. Amazing soft mouthfeel. Very very nice indeed!

Thanks! I try to get a wide variety. Trying to figure out what to brew next.
Aiming for a small/table/session beer. Round 2.5-3% belgian beer packed with flavor but super light and refreshing this is my next challenge.

Dont know quite what to think of it.
Sooo what does my brewers knowledge tell me about this beer.
It tastes like a weiss with no malted wheat on the label this means this is full barley mash bill BUT they are definitely using a wheat beer yeast something like WB-06. Was wondering where the banana flavour came from till I took a sip which confirms my yeast choice suspicions, its fermented on the higher end to make banana flavour pop.
There is cocoa nibs and vanilla in the ingredients - I get very VERY subtle notes of chocolate no vanilla.
Its a very nice beer overall. But to be honest if I didnt read the ingredients and didnt know its was a "dessert ale" I would have just thought it was a Weiss. A good one though - I do like my weiss beers!
