The "crypto winter" is ending - Expert

The price of cryptocurrency has been steadily climbing over the last year, and the adoption of the technology is continuing to grow.

Although Bitcoin's price is nowhere near the historic highs of late 2017, it has shown a steady rally in investor support despite its volatility.

".. and a new hype cycle should begin.”

These articles should begin with a disclaimer that all crypto "investments" are inherently risky. Buyer beware

A "crypto expert" has about as much credibility as pet psychic. I'm sure crypto will pick up again at some stage but these idiots keep on saying the same thing until it happens - that's not clever.

Im pro crypto in the sense that there is a ton of money to be made. Im not into crypto as an evangelist thinking it would actually change the world and all that good feels bs.

Regarding these experts commenting. They tend to comment after the fact and the moment there is a 5% crash in price the next day article states , "Crypto expert predict market will crash before recovering" or "Crypto expert expect another 5% drop before possible recovery".

The moment they see a 5% increase these same "crypto experts" will have articles published about the next bullrun started.

Another useless article by someone trying to create non existent hype for a non existent currency.

Been there, done that.... Oh wait no... I didn't jump on that bandwagon.

In this case Simon is pretty cool - he brought us 22Seven

Fair enough but its becoming all too common that if you created any sort of app pre crypto you are now suddenly recognized as a "Blockchain Expert". That term have no meaning at this point considering everyone with a twitter account and a linkedin profile is recognized as a "blockchain expert" these days.

Also lets just get back to reality for a second.

There is nothing magical about 22seven, its nothing more than a glorified accounting app that links to your external accounts. It is as far away from the concept of blockchain as could be.

This reminds me of the Vinny Lingham character. Constantly hailed as a crypto expert yet his civic scam is sitting right now at a total loss from peak price of over 99% down.

If this is the requirement to be an expert at anything then Zuma could very well be an expert as presidency.

Just to side track a bit. I found the corresponding day of the year quite hilarious for CIVIC. hahaha

All Time High

Seems kinda odd to criticize someone for the price of their token rather than the technology they were trying to develop, as though the point of crypto is to create successful tokens. Some people are trying to build something useful, not create a digital asset with good trading volume and profitable returns.

What's so astonishing is that you can take any of these "experts" and they'll have a following claiming how they know their stuff. But it's always after the fact. If they have to give predictions it's 50% or less.

While that may be the case many have no foresight beyond the initial token and are only trying to cash in on the hype. Once that happens they abandon the project and the price crashes.

The technology is directly equated to the price of their token.

A token losing 99% of its value just tells you how unwanted and clearly useless their technology is for the public.

Same goes for that Crypto20 token that promised the best rebalancing approach and I pointed out from day one it will not and cannot work in crypto space. It also lost over 99% of its value which is exactly what any sane person with half a brain would know to happen.

Civic is no different from many other if not all other tokens. They are all in it to strip the public when the token/coin launch. Lets make a sidebet with civic, in 1 or maybe 2 years the coin/token will be vaporware and the people involved in civic if they are still around will move onto their next scam project.

Yes I said it, I think Civic guys and almost all other token/coin publishers is simply trying to cashin on a hype cycle with their products and there is no actual long term vision.

A project success is also directly linked to its price. If a project lose over 99% of its value it shows clearly that no one gives a fk about it and simply cashed out before they were last in line.

This is one of the big reasons why bitcoin will die last (assuming crypto die entire) since bitcoin is not a coin build around a specific use case hype, it is simply a coin and it has a price attached it determined by the market.

You can make money from crypto, whether they are overvalued or not, by selling them to a greater fool.

Btw, how do you actually value a crypto coin ?

The market values it either via legit traders or manipulation. Both of these are actually acceptable and no different to how the market determine stock price on small cap stock which is also determined by "legit traders" and "manipulators" alike.

You can assume any sort of hokus pokus but the main reason around a coin collapsing entirely vs continually showing increase in trading volume along with sustained price pressure is related to the vast majority of traders who bought into any specific coin perceive the value of that coin long term.

All these altcoins that collapsed pretty much entirely in value shows that they were all just used as a vehicle in hopes of another huge hype cycle like in 2017 to get rich quick. People pretty quickly after the crash realized the hope of that happening is just about zero and thus the meltdown of the altcoin market original coins reached fever pitch.

The same way the market values anything else. Supply and demand. How much of it is available and how much is some idiot willing to pay.

Yes but Vinny is absolutely just an attention seeking narcissist who acts like he’s the all knowing oracle of every new fad that comes into existence. His actual businesses on the other hand have performed very poorly and shows a trend of using the media to leverage pump and dump schemes

Almost all of the media won’t say something bad about cryptocurrency because they themselves are heavily leveraged and need the hype train to buy them out of their stupidity

He had nothing to do with 22seven other than being employed there well after it started
You are with 22seven?
NOICE - I love you.

If you need anything, you get a free favor from me.
