The Cure 2019 - instaticket scam

Well, I've just been taken for a ride.

Kicking myself but in the flurry of tickets for The Cure going on sale this morning I ran search and hit the first sponsored link. Took me to a website called instaticket (https://instaticket.co.za/) the cost for general admission to The Cure was R1490 which knocked me off my seat but clearly with more money than sense I thought: these are selling out better, snap them up.

I bought several, too embarrassed to mention how many, only to find out that the same ticket is R490 at computicket.

I have no tickets from these guys as yet only a confirmation email, I think I have probably been scammed.

The payment gateway was through Strype which I also found weird. What made it seem legit in my mind is that the company hosting Rock on the lawns are not Big Concerts or someone like that but some new company - I thought this was their official ticket portal.

Has anyone dealt with them before? Have I just been ripped off for real tickets or totally scammed, should I cancel my card??

I'm shocked at instatickets prices seeing that there are still tickets available at computicket.. Wow? There site seems dodge, and even more so, the reviews on hellopeter look dodge too

Try contact the bank and get them to reverse the payment or something?

This guy is a real piece of work.
Just, finally received my tickets after weeks of threatening emails.
Additionally, this guy charged me R 2 490.00 per ticket, (I bought 2 for golden circle at Kenilworth) that's R 4 980.00!!
Guess what? Its a frigging COMPUTICKET and registered to Mr. Philip van Eck.
The price on the ticket has been covered by black marker but if you hold it at an angle to the light you can make out the Computicket price of R 895.00 quite clearly. This F*&K has made R 1595.00 PER ticket off my stupid gullibility. That's R 3 190.00 in total!!

Please make him famous, this is sheer daylight robbery.

I did a chargeback eventually. I tried to get in touch with them via their website and facebook but I was unable to get any response so I had my credit card provider do a chargeback and that was that. I'm sorry you got ripped off here pal
