Hi

I'am prety new to the broadband world and i'm still not sure what ISP to use. I am currently at telkom 2gb. Now i'am doing some research for a cheaper ISP and came up with a LOCAL and International internet accounts. What is the diffrence between them??:confused:
THANX

It's actually quite easy.

Local is all websites which are hosted in South Africa, not necessarily all .co.za sites, but the host has to be local in this country.

International speaks for itself, the sites are hosted overseas.

Myadsl is a truly local website, one of the few out there ;)

Local accounts can be used to surf the net by accessing S.A. hosted sites only, or to access and download files from a news server, such as the Internet Solutions news server. SAIX (Which is telkom) does not have good value and is not capable of being used the same as the IS news server, their news server suck :p ;) :D
