Anybody watched The Dig ?

It is about the Anglo-Saxon treasure found at Sutton Hoo. The movie itself is a bit boring yet well done, I was more fascinated by the history and importance of the find. The treasure had an important role in English morale and pride as it shatters the myth of (a) mindless warrior tribe(s), especially juxtaposed against the Romans.

We didn't find it boring. But it was bloody interesting. Did some reading up about the site. That guy never got ANY form of recognition for his work which was a shame. Never recognised.
