The Extra $$$ for 3.6 worth it?

I was hoping that some forum wisdom could answer my question...

I have a contract at @lantic for 1GB/month for 349.99. Do they include the 3.6 capability or do I have to get that as an extra? More importantly, will that improve PING (specifically ping).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks alot.

if you go with prepaid, for 2GB you pay R389 per month directly with VC. Depending where you live atm, Telkom have released a 7.2MB connection and you will pay R349... only in Jo'burg though . R40 cheaper and double the speed.

ping will depend on a lot of factors, especially with wireless!
