The fight to save SA's image

Government agencies, spindoctors and brand marketers are scrambling to come up with ways to boost South Africa's image overseas amid a wave of pessimism and negative reports based on recent events that have rocked the country.

In other words: we are not going to fix the problems but rather try cover them up and lie to and deceive anyone we can con into investing here.

Typical.

Hey ANC: sucks when you can't silence the media because it is in another country, hey?

The only thing that will save the image of South Africa, is to get the ANC out of power, or, at the very least, to have truly effective opposition.

Corruption in the ANC is now endemic, the fat-cats are at the controls of the gravy train on a track that leads off the edge of a cliff.

The only thing that will save SAs image, is if government start to actually govern this country, instead of thinking of ways to skim more money from budgets. Wrapping a turd in shiny gold leaf, won't make it anything more than a turd in gold leaf.

I think he refused to pay her.
When she realised he won't pay, then she complained that he raped her.
What was she doing in his house?

Well it is needed, all I hear here is how SA is in big cac. There was a show on BBC Panorama that with the Ross Kemp on gangs in Palsmore(sp?) coupled with the fact you have major electricity and crime problems. JZ as next pres, but he is on corruption charges along with Selebi and the whole dissolving of the Scorpions... I think Leon has it right
Listen to Leon

well lets face the facts, when u have Africans that run your government that have no issues with the way things are run 'up north', you are going to become just another African country.
corruption, corruption, corruption, thats the name of the game in Africa, the scary thing is that organisations that want government business always seem to just shut the **** up, for the sake of their back pocket.
so hopefully the rest of the world can still see SAfricans as hard workers and not as fraudsters like we seem to label Nigerians!!!!!!
