The final 5kg's

the worst and hardest part ... This is were most people give up and relapse (myself included).

You just have to do MORE exercise and push the upper limits of your body ... its the hardest part.

I would suggest longer stretching and more compound based exercises and increasing muscle volume/density. Muscles eat fat.

I was stuck at 9kgs short of my goal weight for 6+months. Recently lost it and I feel great. The trick - less exercise and more protein packed snacks between meals. I went from hard cardio 5 days a week (35-45min) to HIIT 3 days a week max (15min) and some days I would take a 2-3km walk in the mornings.

The problem is that more extreme exercise = more cortisol, which is very bad for fat loss and muscle gain. I now also only lift 2x a week and focus on compound exercises. Something to keep in mind if you feel maybe that you have been exercising a lot but not seeing results.

Also, like Kwerty mentioned, look up intermittent fasting - I have heard of lots of people breaking through their plateaus that way.

Lastly, keep at it my friend - 5kgs is nothing.. You can do it :)
