Long-term review: Ford Tourneo Custom Titanium X [Update]
This model features the same single-turbo 2.0-litre diesel engine as the Tourneo Custom Trend base model we tested for the March 2025 issue, though its outputs have increased from 100 kW and 360 N.m to 125 kW and 390 N.m for this model. Power is sent to the front wheels via an eight- speed automatic transmission.
Arriving at our garage with just under 2 300 km on its odometer and an indicated 9.0 L/100 km on its digital instrumentation, which nearly matches the CAR fuel index of 8.9 L/100 km, I reset one of the trip computers to mark the start of its tenure with us. After its first week and 180 km in, all I could manage on the school run was an indicated 10.2 L/100 km. I therefore see a number of longer road trips in our near future to remedy this round-town thirst, though the Tourneo is likely to be at full seating capacity; fully packed with friends, family and teammates along for the ride this rugby season.
