it takes time for the water to reach the vaal, which has in fact been increasing lately.

And every bit helps. If it rises by 1% 10 times during the summer, that's 10% of capacity, which could make a huge difference. With today and Thursday's coming rain still to be projected on there, it will look even better.

Will only know by tomorrow once all the water has settled.
Think will be a good jump in dam levels.

The low water bridges around the Hennops River in Centurion are closed at the moment due to flooding.

For Centurion, last year when we had like 3 days of almost non-stop rain was pretty insane - you know, that period when the Vaal dam went from 30% to 110% within days.

this rain still not enough for the vaal. the dryness of the soil still high. will see what impact this rain will bring by the weekend.
