The General World Cup Thread

We need a place to just comment on the game that is being played, the players and teams in general without having to resort to making a thread for every single bloody thing. Have at thee!

France and Uruguay are mauling each other at the moment - have to say, I fear the Uruguayan's physical game will leave SA in tears (quite literally)... can you imagine us trying to deal with the long balls they have been lobbing up field?

I personally would prefer new threads for player performances, referees, etc... Makes it easier to find what you want to talk about rather than wading through 100's of posts Just my opinion
