Interesting viewpoint, they don't deny that Global Warming is happening, they just make the point that we has human kind really hold ourselves in high esteem if we think we are responsible.

Quite long, 74 min but well worth the bandwidth.
 
We humans are remarkably good at perpetrating ecological disasters; look at North/South America, Australia, Easter Island, and Madagascar, and no doubt many other areas (even the Middle East, the cradle of civilisation).
 
Deforestation and such yes, but affecting the entire planet is such profound way is not in our grasp quite yet.

Note CO2 is a natural greenhouse gas, the ocean pump out more CO2 than the entire human population.

Even if we are not really a contributor to global warming it still doesn't give us any excuse to continue the way we have. Humans should stop making up excuses, accept some blame and get their butts of the proverbial couch and start doing something.

I'm not saying that we aren't doing anything about the ecological problems we face but only that we are still far from solving them. And time is running out...

But as always the lust/greed for power, money etc. will most likely continue to be the biggest contributers to the problem.

I agree with you, the video just makes the point that we are being misled by self serving interest in blaming human beings for global warming, the point is that energy efficient technology's are good for us and for the planet that we live on.

The name "Global Warming" is actually a misnomer, global climate change should be used seeing as it's been happening since time in memorial.

Everything in the universe goes through cycles, the time has just come for a warmer cycle on Earth as well as coincidentally, Mars, seeing as we are in the sun's "magnetic atmosphere", this affects us in profound ways.

Of course we are caretakers of the planet and we should treat it as such.
 
Human did manage to creat a ozone layer thinning- hole larger than the size of America on top of antartica

There were very little dispute on that achievement !

one should never under estimate human potential

Oh wow! Are there still people around that actually believe that we as a species are not responsible for GW!? Ah well, the cigarette companies were able to fight a disinformation campaign that allowed naive people to claim that smoking isn't harmful to your health until well into the 80s. In fact, there's a guy that works with me that still claim that smoking is not detrimental to your health and that all the claims to the contrary are just bull. People will believe whatever they want and they won't let a small thing like scientific fact affect their misconceptions.
 
China is in the process of building additional coal based power stations. When the are all complete, these plants alone will pump over 4 million tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere per annum. Thats 4 trillion kilograms of gas... how can there be any doubt that humans can influence major environmental balances.
 
I actually heard from somewhere that all this warming is caused by the sun going through its natural cycle of burning brighter/dimmer over thousands of years.

I don't know who to believe anymore...
 
One of the things that has keep global warming down is global dimming - look it up and then you bad things are - only a fool or perhaps someone asked to spin it the other way would say that global warming was nothing to do with humans
 
if u want to listen to some really intreasting debates go to talksport.net (streaming radio).They dont give a fcuck what ppl think.The presenters speak there mind , not like the SABC and BBC which are so politcally correct.
