A while ago, in the eWaste thread, I proposed a thread where users with unneeded hardware could offer it up to other users.

It seemed like many people were turfing useable equipment, often for little or no return, so why not offer it up here?

I don't have much left, but I have these certified antiques on offer...

Maybe they can help some beginner somewhere instead of it all rotting in a skip.

I'm in the greater Sandton area, JHB.

If you have something to offer, reply here and perhaps we can get a Sticky going? :)

I've got 4 pc boxes here,2 cd writers, 1 dvd writer, 2 psus and a bunch of samsung cables and others, not sure what works or not but if I can get like R200 for it you can have the lot :)

will see what i have more in detail if anyone is interested.

hj2k_x,

They're just cases. I collected them from the scrap pile another company in our building had put together a few months ago. 90% of the components were dead; the rest I used to resurrect another antique at Home.

Any HDD's in there? Am looking to build a small cheap file server. If there are, count me in

I'm looking for any old printers / fax machines / photocopiers / dvd cd roms. Dead or alive.
Salvaging components for a Arduino project. :D

I have 2 x casings still in the box, no PSU. A case with PSU and Biostar board (think there is a problem with the SATA ports), AMD LE-1640 CPU, 2 x 1GB DDR2 800, CD-R/DVD-ROM. Will swap for case of Black Label.
