The most successful method of cessation to nicotine is the e-cigarette by far. No other methods like patches, gum, mouth sprays etc can come near to e-cigarettes ever for cessation.

I have been vaping for 6 years and have decreased the nic from 18 mg to zero but love the "act" of smoking- vaping and the cool flavours available.

I would say cold turkey is the most successful. You still addicted to nicotine, unless it is 0mg, but if not you have just changed your delivery of nicotine.

Vaping 0% is about as confusing to me as drinking decaf.

Not really.I quit smoking because I really felt that it was time to give it up,but I love smoking so much that I would smoke fistfuls all the time if I could.
So now I vape 0% so I can emulate smoking, but without the nasties that goes along with smoking ciggies.

Yes, really. While vaping 0% might make sense to you it makes none to me, especially with the costs associated with it.

What range of nicotine content does the liquid come in? How gradually can you lower your intake?

With twisp you get 0, 3, 8, and 18mg. Plumers generally use the lower nicotine content liquids, mouth-to-lungers the higher end. Other ranges of liquids have their own content levels.

Those seem like rather large leaps when lowering your intake.

Buy one bottle of what ever percentage NC you are currently vaping and one bottle of the same liquid of 0% . Start off slowly by diluting the percentage with some 0% and keep increasing the amount of 0% until you are completely off the NC.

Sure - but you can always mix strengths and those are just what Twisp offers. Some people just buy flavours and nicotine separately and mix whatever strength they desire.

Cool.

We veteran vapors mix our own liquid as per our preference. I buy PG and VG with some menthol concentrate and mix 500 ml at a time and it is cheap and lasts for months.
I went from 12 mg nic to 3 mg overnight with no probs but vaped more. At zero nic I still vape more but enjoy the taste. At this stage my wife gave up completely.

Well trying this vape thing out.

Wow. That looks like a beast. What PG/VG ratio are you using? PG gives the throat hit but little vapor and VG gives the vapor. I mix to 20%PG and 80%VG.
