Anyone with a USB modem? Preferably the latest model. I'm based in JHB.
 
Finally have ADSL so have a 2MB Silver Surfer and iBurst Webphone for sale. I'm in Somerset West bit will ship anywhere. PM me with an offer for one or both. Webphone has not been used in more than a year and is just laying in the cupboard.

*SO* happy to be able to post this! One of the original iBurst portable/laptop USB modems (that sorta flat rectangle one, you know?). For you? Special price. R400. PM me. In fact, offer to buy me a nice bottle of whiskey (I'm not a snob, so entry level is cool), and it's yours with my blessings: "Here, my son, go forth with this modem and have many years of heartbreak and misery with this company..."

Else, I'm just going to get drunk on OB sherry, piss on it and then throw it in the dirtbin.

They must, because a month ago when I emailed them, I got a response and picked up one of the modems. They probably don't have any stock at the moment.

iBurst PCMCIA Modem for sale. Unfortunately this modem does not fit my (new) laptop, but over the years we've learned that it's always a good idea to have more than one service provider.

Because I just found it will throw in another omni that's missing connector and pigtail no change to price

I have a UTD1780D-ZA-C with an external antennae. I desperately need a hard drive. As close to 1Tb as possible. Is that a fair trade?
