... my apple pencil cap has gone missing.

Phoning apple "support" they just pointed me to myistore call centre, who told my there is no replacement parts. I would have to buy a new one ?!?

So, what are my options. Anyone facing similar situation?

If there is no replacements then holy hell that would be a big FU from apple to their sheeple.

Some use the charger adaptor thingy as the cap. Not ideal, but might be an option.

Apple have sent free replacements to some users internationally - others are charged $5, not including shipping. Amazon have generic options available.

So CORE (unsurprisingly) appears to be the problem.

[Makes mental note to be more careful with Pencil].

So I got a response from [email protected]

Good day Gerhard

Thank you for your patience.

The Apple Pencil Cap cannot be purchased separately from an iStore. It comes packaged together.
You are welcome to research gadget shops.

Kindest regards,

Protects the charging port.
The fuss was about a premium brand not bothering to stock parts for their products.
I was busy making one from an old eraser.

Aah okay was just checking that I wasn't missing something.

Does it come loose easily? Or did you misplace it?

It's held in place magnetically, so it can easily be popped off.
Also, the charger adapter is a loose peice you have to keep "somewhere"

I think they are going to wrap Steve in magnets and bury him next to copper wire looms, because Apple's business practices is make him spin in his grave at such a rate that he would be generating electricity for their headquarters.
