On the 16th of February this year, I conducted an interview with Ajay Gupta. I was thrilled to be given the chance to do it. Only to be completely frustrated and angry that I was then not allowed to talk about it, or publish anything to do with it, until now. The reason is that a non-disclosure agreement was attached to the interview. Bell-Pottinger did not live up to the assurances that provided. Ajay Gupta lied. But now, finally, because a portion of the interview has emerged on YouTube, I am now in a position where I can talk about it.

No, it completely destroys the sentence. I think you wanted a pause in order to build suspense, therefore an ellipses would have been better suited.

Gupta's have been in this country how long again ? 26 years if not mistaken and they speak broken English. I was under the impression a businessman needed to be professional and confident but clearly on this interview he wasn't confident... Like it was scripted
